Welcome to the April 26th 2008 update, we continue to improve the facilities at our condominiums, more plants in the garden, pool upgrades, staff training etc. We are approaching the green season in Costa Rica, call or email for availability this is a great time to enjoy the tropics. Please note that the information on this site is specifically for the two Alfaro condominiums, if you like what you see ask for them specifically, half of the units are privately owned and are all different.
Here is the information on our two condominiums one has a waterfront view and other a tropical mountain view. Both are very well furnished, look at the pictures by clicking on each page on the index at the left of this page. They are located in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area near the beach, in Damas just before you get to Quepos. The condominiums are two bedroom, two bath, 1000 sq. feet, full air conditioning, with living room, full kitchen with all appliances, private patio, master bedroom with private bath and a queen bed . The other guest room has two twin beds. They are well furnished and tastefully decorated with original art. We look forward to sharing our places with you and hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Rates are very reasonable and are for TWO bedrooms. Weekly and monthly rates are available.
You will see why we fell in love with the lush tropical surroundings, the abundant wildlife and the tranquility that is around Pueblo Real (The name of the complex). The location is IDEAL as your base for seeing a large part of Costa Rica.
You can take a short plane ride from the International airport (near San Jose)where you arrive and be in Quepos in less than a half hour. Or if you prefer, take a bus for the 4 hour ($6) ride, or rent a car and drive yourself. If you arrive (In Csta Rica)late or need a place to stay near the airport we Very highly recommend The Corteza Amarilla From the Quepos airport it is a short taxi ride to the Pueblo Real complex. From here (At the landing right outside the condominiums) you can take the monkey tour through the mangroves or go to the close beaches, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, snorkeling , bird watching, or canopy tours in the rain forest. Visit the national parks, especially Manuel Antonio which is only 15 minutes away. These and other tours can be arranged by the bilingual front desk staffed by Jorge and Michael. How much you do is up to you, stay and relax around the pool or the tennis courts, or take a different tour each day. You are a short ride across the water to the beach or 15 minutes by car to world famous Manuel Antonio beaches. There are several restaurants very near the complex or go to the many places in Quepos or Manuel Antonio. You can also have food delivered to your room from the Cayuga restaurant. There are many nice local places to eat with great views of the ocean and the rain forest.
